Yoga Transformed My Life

I began practicing yoga to stay in shape and get a break from my kids. My yoga journey took me by surprise as it became so much more than a physical practice. Yoga became a body, mind, and spiritual practice for me. Yoga helps me live with more intention, balance, and purpose. Yoga is love. It taught me to love myself, and when I learned to love myself first I was able to love and serve others better.

Yoga is my superpower. I take the balance, strength, empowerment, peace, love, presence, patience, grace, forgiveness, and energy I cultivate and create on my yoga mat off my mat and into my life.

I wanted to share the gifts of yoga with other women and that’s what led me to pursue my 200 hrs RYT (registered yoga teacher) training in 2015.

Teaching yoga sets my soul on FIRE! I have been serving women in my community teaching yoga classes at local studios, hosting retreats, workshops, pop-up classes, trainings, and in 2020 launched Megan’s Yoga Tribe Online Yoga, Barre, Pilates studio. 

My goal is to help you transform your body and mind each time we practice yoga together; in person or virtual. I will offer easy to follow cues, modifications and the motivation through my language and flows to challenge you while still honoring your body and mind.

I love practicing with Megan! She offers so many different styles of yoga and brings her energy and positivity to each one when she steps on her mat. She honors where your body is today and encourages you to grow in your practice and know that you can do hard things too. I feel energized, strong and confident at the end of each class! 


My first experience with Buti Yoga was in Kirksville, MO at my favorite little yoga studio in 2015. The music was loud, we laughed, we sweated, and I fell in love! Since then I became integrated into the Buti Yoga network in Kansas City where I became certified to teach Buti Yoga in 2017. I have taught ever since, and I feel that I always meet the most wonderful women (and men) through Buti.
It is my goal in each Buti Yoga class to challenge you, to encourage you, and to get to know you.

Hi!! My name is Hillary, and I want to pop in here to give you a little intro about me! I’m a wife to my high school sweetheart, mom of two boys (4 years old and 1 year old), Spanish translator, SAHM, and barre instructor! I’ve been a dancer my whole life. Started Ballet when I was 3 and danced in art festivals until I was 19 years old. Love dancing salsa, bachata, merengue, and anything I can move to! I discovered barre about 4 years ago, and worked up the confidence to get certified! I’m certified by American Barre Technique and have loved teaching Barre for about a year now! Hope to help you have a great barre experience from home!

Katie is a KCMO area yoga instructor with a passion for astrology, philosophy, and all things meta-physical. With a background in body-building and physical fitness she understands both the anatomy of the body and the societal pressures put on it. She teaches a style of yoga that focuses on cultivating a loving and compassionate conversation with the body so that with the breath we can connect through the body and to the spirit.
In her free time you can find Katie pouring over birth charts, sipping cold brew at coffee shops around town, taking yoga classes at new studios, drinking red wine in the winter and sun bathing at loose park in the summer. She’s a Leo sun, Aquarius moon, Capricorn rising. If you know, you know, and if you don’t she says let’s talk!

Yin Yoga First Sunday of the Month 7:30pm

Sonci began her yoga story on a year long journey traveling through Southeast Asia in 2014. There she completed her first yoga teacher training in the beautiful foothills of the Himalayas. Since she has studied many styles of yoga and Yoga Nidra. The practice of yoga taught her to pursue one’s true, authentic self.
Sonci has a diverse teaching background including corporate offices, studios, parks, trauma-centers and international retreats. She teaches nourishing yoga and meditation classes with the guiding intention of healing and transformation. She encourages alignment, breath, and the unique internal wisdom of each individual.
Sonci loves being in nature, drinking kombucha and spending time with her pup Luna.
